The original idea for Warrior Festival came about when a close friend was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour. The help and support she received from the Wight Brainy Bunch inspired the want to give something back.

 

The Wight Brainy Bunch provides invaluable emotional and financial support to families devestated by brain tumours. Set up by Mark Grimes and his wife Kathryn, following Mark's diagnosis of a brain tumour in February 2015.

“We wanted to put on a small charity gig hosted by the islands Foo Fighters tribute band (Foo Fighterz - UK Tribute) but snowballed as more and more local musicians offered to get involved”

Warrior Festival is committed to showcase the islands musical talent. We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep and we and privileged to work with these incredible musicians.
